Please understand...you are very,very welcome at our Nursery and Garden........but only after contacting us.

Visiting is possible throughout the Year...but ofcourse when you want to see the Saxes in flower....the best time is to visit us on the OPEN SAXIFRAGA DAYS(Saturdays)....each spring in March and April....or by early flowering even in Februari.

But you are also welcome any other Month you wish......if you want to know more about the Saxes it can be a good start and idea to make an appointment when it's not so busy......but ofcourse that's up to you.

Ons Kwekerijtje Bezoeken.....Alleen op Afspraak!

U bent altijd Welkom bij ons...maar wel op Afspraak!,anders loopt u de kans dat we op een andere locatie zijn en u voor een dichte deur komt!

De beste tijd is natuurlijk op een van onze Open Zaterdagen in Maart en April wanneer de Saxifraga's bloeien!

Maar ook het hele jaar door staan we op afspraak voor u klaar en in principe is bezoek op alle dagen van de week mogelijk!

Vooral voor beginners is het ideaal om eens op een door de weekse dag te komen,wij hebben dan voldoende tijd om u rustig tekst en uitleg te geven......en niet alleen over de Saxifraga's want wij hebben naast de duizenden Saxifraga's ook altijd honderden 'Andere' Rotsplanten op voorraad!

We kunnen u in alle facetten van het Rotstuinieren wegwijs maken.

At First.....We are NOT an 'Normal' Nursery......with a Big Stock!........we are a small very,very specialized Porophyllum Nursery,trying to keep over 600 different Saxifrages in Stock!......all in small numbers... just 2 or 3 of an item,or 10 or 11...but always just a Few...Please keep that in mind an do not be dissapointed when Saxes are Sold out!

And very important is...........

We grow our Saxes in an 'Old Fashioned' Way...without fertilizer and giving them the time to grow in the Right way....slow!.....so we can sell you hardy and reliable plants......wich have a better chance in our Rock Gardens. So it takes some time for our Saxes to grow...and that's why sometimes a Saxifraga is not available on short notice!

Allereerst.......Wij zijn geen grote kwekerij die er een grote voorraad op na houdt!.......we zijn een zeer gespecialiseerd klein kwekerijtje die probeert om meer dan 600 verschillende Saxifraga's uit de Porophyllum groep te vermeerderen en op voorraad te houden.....en dit in kleine aantallen......dus soms slechts 2 of 3 van een bepaald soortje,of 10 a 11.....maar nooit in grote aantallen dus....houdt dit bij het bestellen in gedachten zodat je niet teleurgesteld bent als een bepaalde Sax niet meer aanwezig is.

En wat minstens zo belangrijk is.........

Wij kweken onze planten op een 'Ouderwetse' wijze.......zonder groei en meststoffen.......op een natuurlijke wijze...dus..langzaam!...zodat ze de tijd  krijgen om op te groeien als afgeharde,compacte Saxjes die een betere kans hebben te overleven in onze laagland Rotstuinen. 

Dit is dus de voornaamste reden dat een bepaalde Saxifraga soms een tijdje niet op voorraad is!!!

HOW TO ORDER   

Most of our Saxifraga's are sold by Mail-order,so you can imagine that it's a very good and safe way to order plants.  Each year many,many Parcels find their way in Europe and beyond.

The best way is ordering by E-Mail,please push the mail-order button on this page and send us a list with the names of the Saxifraga's you want,and when you want to receive the plants. We always will send you an confirmation E-mail.  Ofcourse it's possible to order by phone or letter.

Planten versturen kan ook in Nederland!.......veel liefhebbers maken hier gebruik van!.......in de meeste gevallen is het voor 10 uur 's ochtends besteld.......de volgende dag in huis!  Dus geen tijd om even langs te komen en toch een nieuw gedeelte inplanten?......aarzel niet en probeer onze Mail-service.

SUBSTITUTES          

Please understand we are a small and specialized Nursery with,many,many different Saxes in Stock.  So some Saxifraga's are in small numbers especially the 'Most wanted' and the 'difficult' to propagate ones. In our Catalogue we do not use stocknumbers,so you always have to ask if Saxes are available.  If you order by E-mail we always mail you back wich one are in stock or sold out,and we can have contact about substitutes or not.

Vergeet niet dat we kleine aantallen van alles hebben,en sommigen zijn snel weg met name de zeldzame en moeilijke Saxen die veel gevraagd worden.  Laat dus altijd weten of je vervangers wilt of niet ofdat wij hierover contact met je opnemen.

PAYMENT AND ORDERING         

Ordering and sending plants is always a matter of trust......we trust you,and you....must simply trust us. If we send you the plants you asked for we trust you to send us the money,and otherwise when you send your money along your order by letter you can be sure we will send you the plants.

Please understand we only accept CASH or Payment by BANK.  

Cash; Please send your money by registered letter,it's a very good and rather safe way to pay.   Many customers before did so and untill now it never went wrong,but offcourse it's always on your own risk.   

Bank; It's also possible to pay us by Bank by using IBAN and BIC number,ask your bank for details.   If you want to pay by bank,please let us know and we will give you our IBAN and BIC number.

Post and Packaging Costs

We always send out in Pots,most of the Saxifrages in 4.5 cm pots. The other alpines often growing in bigger pots are also send out in their pots. Alpines grown in Clay-Pots are send without the Clay-pot.

It's a very good and safe way and the plants will reach you in good health within 4-5 Days in Europe. Outside Europe it can take 2-3 days longer ofcourse,but the way we send them it's not a problem at all. Please keep in mind that we are not responsible for mail-faillure in your Country.  But in 99.9% it's always going well.

Costs are by weight within Europe,for parcels out of Europe it's mostly 5-10 €uro more.  We always inform you in advance about the total costs.
